Zoey's Sweet Sixth Birthday

We can't believe our little girl is six years old!    Zoey is growing into such an "accomplished little lady". She loves: music, the arts, dance, gymnastics, cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, sports, and being our little mother.  She is kind and compassionate to everyone.  Zealand probably wishes she was his momma because he always wants Zoey when he is sad or hurt. She loves to learn, and has found kindergarten to be a delight!  Our family has moved six times in her six years.  She always handles it amazingly well.  We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl in our home.  She has a strong testimony of the gospel ,and is a wonderful example to each of us.  She always keeps us on track.

Zoey loves to pick a theme for her birthday.   Her 1st b-day was a  -  Care Bear Party,  2nd b-day- Winnie The Pooh Party,   3rd B-day  -  Princess Party,
4th B-day Peter Pan Party,  5th B-day Cowgirl Party.

This year she announced she wanted a CANDYLAND party.  I was really excited.
Ty was on spring break so we had a whole week of fun activities.  Here's a bunch of pictures of the weeks activities.

Zoey wanted me to make Red Velvet Cupcakes with homemade frosting to take to kindergarten.  They were a big hit.
Chuck E Cheese was a fun place to go on a rainy day.

It is always so wonderful when Ty can join us for fun!

Roller Coster!

Zoey's Kindergarten friends are so cute!

Zealand loves to visit Zoey's classroom, and the kids are so good to him.
They all call him Bubba.

Zoey loves to watch Cake Boss and other baking shows.  She had a very good idea about what she wanted.
she told me I had to cover it in fondant.  I did, but you can hardly tell because of all the candy! :)

She was very surprised to see her Candyland cake.

I found some darling Candyland fabric, and I think I will make her a big quilt.

Birthday girl excited to see her birthday table.

Grandma and Grandpa Nylander had this big package sent to her.

It was the American Girl Bitty Twins. She has been wanting these for a long time.

Don't they look like Zea and Zoe?

Zealand picked her out a cute kitten that wiggles.

I felt like the cake looked too crowded, but I didn't want to make a huge cake.
There were only four cake eaters.  Zoey loved it and it was fun to make.

I love these rainbow sour airheads. They are super fun.  I have seen them used on cute cupcakes for St. Patty's day too.

We always have a special birthday breakfast!

FYI:  17 inches of Rapunzel hair can become a bit TANGLED, if you don't keep it brushed.

She got spoiled as usual.

We went to her school playground for a picnic.  She was thrilled with her new outfit.  She loves to GLAM it up.

This guy was in heaven with all the suckers.  He didn't want to lick them as much as hold them .
He thought they looked like balloons.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET ZOEY!

  3. Thanks Melanie! Thanks Angela!

Angela I had to order them from Party Express online. They shipped them for about 4.00. I couldn't find them anywhere else. I ordered the fabric on the table and the wall from The Fat Quarter Shop online.
